Most “student-athletes” choose, like I did, to play at a non-scholarship Division III institution. But the elite few take the high-intensity scholarship route. We see them shooting free-throws on CBS during March Madness or watch them throwing touchdowns on ESPN any given Saturday.

Following a tough 1–5 loss to Allegheny College, the men’s tennis team pulled off an impressive 5–4 win against Ohio Wesleyan University on Sunday, April 29, at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship tournament in Gambier, OH.

Yeowomen Set New Precedent, Runners-Up at NCACs

Last weekend, for the first time in recent history, the women’s tennis team competed in the North Coast Athletic Conference championships. Although it lost 1–5 to the eight-ranked team in the nation, DePauw University, the Yeowomen put together one of the best seasons in program history and still have a chance to make the NCAA tournament with an at-large bid.
